  1. I like websites like these that call for not only change in the self, but call for action in the community. It is important to not only be a healthy individual but encourage others to do the same, as well as encourage law makers to make changes to allow for everyone to have the same opportunities. As a teacher, I would use this site to emphasize healthy eating and lifestyle choices. As a parent, I would use this site to get ideas and information for my family so that my children will not only hear about healthy lifestyles, but will have seen it modeled and practice it themselves. As a member of the community, I would use this site to find out ways to be an advocate for the community and be active in my role as a citizen.

  2. I really liked thed websited because it provides numerous resources for educators and families. . I liked how the originators of the site made sure to address whole communities and not only students or teachers. By providing information to all family members and also having easy access to government websites and blogs, those who use it benefit emensely since they are able to get information from a single site.

  3. Wow, what a great site! I'm definitely going to bookmark this one, as I feel like the concepts it addresses are so important for teaching children, as well as raising them. Also, with the increasing push toward green living and sustainability, using natural products and protecting children from toxins are finally getting the attention they deserve. Great resource.

  4. This site definitely seemed geared toward the users. Sometimes sites like this have all the right tools, but it is difficult to find what you need. I think the as a teacher I can use this resource in my classroom to educate my students and share what this is so important. I think that this resource is very useful in a community sense because it is very user friendly, and awareness should be brought to the community, not only the classroom. This is something that will bring awareness to the community because of the subject matter, and I would think that it would be my job to make people aware that this out there.
